Bereavment Focus – Online Counselling Session
A 50-minute counselling session specifically focussed on helping you to work through your bereavement, using a mixture of person-centred therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy techniques, together we can work through your relationship with the person you have lost and how to keep their memory alive in the best way possible for you. Losing someone can completely disrupt your life, and our feelings are often extremely mixed, these sessions will work at helping you to unpick this and work through what your life now looks like without this person in it as a physical presence.
Counselling sessions are spaces in which you are free to talk about whatever you feel you need to on the day. Session goals can be set at the beginning of our counselling sessions so that on days in which you may be unsure of what to talk about, we have a goal or event in mind to discuss. Counselling can be whatever you need it to be at that time and is very flexible, sometimes it’s just nice to be listened too! If you have not seen me before please book in for a ‘first session’ before booking this one – thank you!
For Webcam counselling sessions: You will require access to a computer, laptop or tablet with a stable internet connection in a private environment, so you are not overheard or interrupted by children, pets etc.
