I noticed all my fellow sleep-deprived parents trying to caffeinate their way through a global pandemic had something in common.
A burning love / need of great Coffee.
I wanted to provide a coffee that didn't just taste incredible but also came with the right amount of kick to help my fellow parents survive parenthood et voila Sips Coffee was born.
Naturally, Sips has grown and expanded and we now offer a subscription of freshly roasted coffee beans sent through your door. And don’t worry, you definitely don’t have to be a parent to enjoy these tastes.
Not only do they provide the best of what coffee has to offer, they pursue ethical and transparent sourcing of their beans - something which makes such a difference in the world we live in today.
They say themselves, ‘ 97% of our volume is bought directly from origin through our own relationships, with our sourcing team travelling the world, creating and maintaining partnerships and ensuring our buying program delivers across the three pillars of economic, environmental and socially sustainable trade.
We work closely with co-operatives, private exporters, NGO’s and Indigenous Rights Groups to ensure that the coffees we sell are ethical, free from exploitation, and truly traceable.’
So in other words, skip the Fairtrade, this is really done properly. So whatever way you decide to have your cup of Sips, be assured that from its inception care, attention and heart has been poured into it. See it as your good deed for the day!

Recharge Espresso Roast -Whole Bean
£12.50
Tasting notes of almond milk, biscoff and chocolate orange – not a terrible place to start, right?
These beautiful beans all the way from Guatemala have roasted two ways by the lovely people at Clifton Coffee meaning you can choose to enjoy them as a punchy and chocolatey espresso or a more delicate, sweet filter.
The coffee cherries go through a rigorous three-day long process of de-pulping and fermenting before being washed and soaked in clean water – a process known as double washing in the coffee world. This means you really make the most of the bean's natural flavours which is fundamental to make a tasty tasty cup of Joe!
This coffee yields from a second-generation coffee farm in the Huehuetenango region of Guatemala. This 11.8-hectare farm is responsible for making around 2000 kg of coffee cherry each year, taking great care of every single bean in the process.
Process: Washed, sun-dried
Altitude: 1750 – 1850 MASL
Weight: 250g
Please note this product, along with all our espresso roasts, is not available ground. We believe pre-ground espresso would not do the quality or taste of our coffee justice. We hope this doesn’t cause too much inconvenience!
We hope this cup of good stuff lends itself to a good old-fashioned sit-down so you can Make it a Moment.
